CAREL supporting the Stracittadine Virtual Edition
The consequences of the pandemic have led to the postponement of the 2020 Padova Marathon, an event that sees CAREL as a Gold Sponsor. The organisers, Assindustria, have in the meantime put on a virtual event that lets everyone experience a day of sport and solidarity: a 24-hour non-stop charity race, in compliance with the rules on social distancing, with the possibility for participants to take part in one of four non-competitive events - 5, 10, 15 and 20 kilometres - completing the course wherever and whenever they want throughout the day.
“To highlight how close we are to our community, we have decided to partner Assindustria Sport and sponsor the Stracittadine Virtual Edition”, commented CAREL’s CEO, Francesco Nalini. “At the same time, we have organised our own solidarity relay for all employees: for each kilometre run or walked and logged before 31 December, CAREL will donate € 0.10 to Care & Share Italia Onlus Ong“.
