CAREL@DCW for more sustainable data centres

CAREL will be at Data Centre World London, on 2-3 March, welcoming visitors to stand D538 and presenting the star of the event: energy saving. The company’s offering is in fact built around products designed to make up an entire system based on highly efficient technologies that, supported by IoT services, maximise the benefits ensured by complete solutions. The first of these involves indirect evaporative cooling in data centres, which make cooling systems more efficient and reliable by combining specific products and having them work in synergy; the equipment can thus more sustainably cool the latest generation servers, through the use of heat exchangers, adiabatic humidifiers and specific controllers for each HVAC system.

Another fundamental element to boost efficiency and reduce energy consumption, however large or small the data centre, is a monitoring system for rapid local and remote troubleshooting. As a result, CAREL will also be presenting the new boss one device, a web interface for programmable controllers, used to manage the parameters and status of HVAC units, as well as coordinate alarm signals and share variables not only with BMS systems, but also with cloud solutions

The spread of fog computing means there will be even greater demand for these types of supervisors, with the need to monitor multiple remote locations. Enrico Boscaro, Group Marketing Manager - HVAC Industrial, will examine this topic during his speech at the conference (2 March, 4.35 pm) entitled “EdgeDCIM - An architecture for Edge data centres infrastructure monitoring”.
